Handcrafted - Dry Sambal Belacan Kit

Sambal Belacan

Spicy shrimp paste chilli sambal, great as a condiment with Malaysian dishes.

Mix into a paste with water. Add a generous amount of oil and saute until aromatic and oil separates (about 5-10 minutes).

Remove from heat, then allow to cool.

Use as a dip for all kinds of rice or noodle dishes.

Once cooked, sambal will keep in the fridge for 6 weeks or in the freezer for 6 months.

IMPORTANT: Please note all products are prepared at the same premises, so the risk of cross-contamination is always a possibility. However, due to repeated requests, I've offered some tweaks to my recipes to accommodate those with dietary restrictions.
